Our in-house manufacturing capability is renowned throughout the industry for providing high class bespoke fabrications and assemblies.

Our highly skilled workshop staff, engineers and technicians work to precise specifications to achieve customer’s individual requirements on projects ranging from simple static components through to fully automated production plants.

The production of complex, high integrity structures to exacting standards is one of our core competencies. Working from either our own manufacturing details, or building to client design, we can produce a diverse range of products manufactured from numerous common and exotic materials.  In particular NIS has niche expertise in welding of aluminium and stainless steels

Our independent QA/QC function provides our in-house inspection team to work in partnership with the manufacturing team to ensure that the appropriate level of documentation is developed and delivered, including full life time quality record packs if required.

To complement our fabrication expertise we also specialise in areas of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic assembly which is carried out in specific controlled areas.

Purpose built test facilities are available onsite for engineering trials or research and development testing. Test work can be used to prove a finished product or process away from the constraints that are present on many of our client’s sites, or to determine data for inclusion in the final design and specification.

Our team of expert mechanical and electrical installation and commissioning engineers are also available and equipped with the knowledge, skills and accreditations to work in a wide range of different environments throughout the world.

Manufacturing resources include:

  • Fabrication (incl. aluminium, stainless and carbon steels)
  • R&D/Prototype Development
  • Fully Integrated Systems
  • Works Testing
  • Project Build
  • Electrical Build
  • Mechanical Assembly
