Facilities

During 2008 NIS Ltd opened a manufacturing and assembly facility in Guangzhou, South China, NIS (China) Limited. The facility provides the opportunity to both import and export goods and services to a growing and vibrant market place in the far east.

The company is staffed and managed by a mixture of UK employees and local staff. To maintain the high standards expected of the Group, NIS (China) Ltd has adopted the operating philosophies and core values from the UK, to this end NIS (China) Ltd operates under an extension of the NIS Limited ISO 9001 Quality System.

Managing Director Richard Penrose stated ‘This is an extremely exciting time for both NIS and our customers. We are in position to operate in a global market enabling us to provide the high quality services of the Group with all the added benefits of world economics.’

Kim Chow – Regional Sales Manager
Kim joined NIS in August 2008 as Regional Sales Manager for the Far East. With an MBA degree from the University of South Australia, he has over 15 years of global sales experience in the industrial field for various MNCs. His new challenge shall be launching of the BAMWA in Asia.

Carmen Chen – Office Administrator
Carmen joined the NIS (China) operation in December 2009. She graduated from Guangzhou University with a degree in International Business. In her school life, she actively attended the school activities and was responsible for organising the annual celebration for the University.  She has a real enthusiasm for her work and likes to take on a new challenge in her career.  She has served as a Translator & Personal Assistant in a trading company and worked as a Shipping clerk in a shipping forwarder before joining NIS.
