Facilities / Manufacture

NIS boasts an impressive in house manufacturing assembly and test facility which is accredited to ISO 9001. The manufacturing department includes a conventional and CNC machining capability. Along side this other equipment including, plasma profiler, guillotine, bending presses, rollers and pipe benders are used.

A wide range of weld procedures are available, qualified in accordance with EN288 (BS5750), some of which are dual qualified to ASME IX. Staff are qualified to BS5500 Cert 1, EN287 (BS5871), ASME IX and client standards including NF0081, part 1 and 3 and AESS 6021. We have the equipment for spot, stud, MMA, MIG and TIG welding.

NIS can manufacture a range of products to suit any customer’s needs, and our workshop area is configured to provide segregated working between stainless steel and carbon steel materials allowing full use of the workshop floor. We have extensive in-house facilities and equipment for turning, milling and general machining
