Trials of new X-ray Gantry completed by NIS

NIS Ltd is pleased to confirm the completion of trials that enables the successful delivery of new cargo inspection equipment for our US based client L-3 Security and Detection Systems.

L-3 are world leaders in the provision of advanced screening technologies for numerous security applications, and the new CX-Gantry will allow maximum coverage and image performance in a configurable, re-locatable, high energy platform for end to end inspection of vehicles and cargo containers at borders, ports and other high threat facilities.

Chosen to undertake the project because of our proven track record in delivering to the global security sector, NIS Ltd worked in a collaborative manner with L-3 to complete all aspects of the design and manufacturing process, which included the erection of a temporary testing facility to undertake the x-ray trials.
