HVAC specialist extends NIS Ltd capability

To meet the demands of their growing nuclear portfolio NIS Ltd are delighted to announce the appointment of HVAC specialist Jim Axtell.

Jim brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience that will see NIS expand the capabilities they currently offer the Civil Nuclear, Decommissioning and Defence Industries.

As a member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers, with over 20 years experience in the Nuclear Ventilation and Containment industry and over 40 years within the Building Services industry, Jim is ideally suited to the role that involves building a new team to complement NIS Ltds core business of bespoke engineering services.

Speaking about his new challenge Jim said  'I am absolutely amazed at the breadth of experience that exists within NIS and the enthusiasm shown by the team in embracing the new HVAC challenge and feel confident of success on our existing and future onsite projects'

Throughout his career Jim has been involved with a broad spectrum of projects from simple plant upgrades and concept ventilation design, to complex turnkey design, build and install projects and he has worked across many of the UK nuclear sites including Sellafield, Aldermaston, Sizewell, Dounreay and Berkeley.
